Royal wedding gets Disney treatment on the Web

Prince William’s marriage to Kate Middleton had all the elements of a fairytale, and some have created Disney comparisons to prove it.
A side-by-side image of the now Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on their wedding day and a shot of Prince Charming and Cinderella has become just as popular as images from the real-life April 29 ceremony. The image has clearly been doctored, as the original Prince Charming has dark hair and was wearing a light-colored jacket, but even without the touch-ups they bear a few similarities.

William and Kate's wedding day kiss – which was more of a peck, but whatever – also apparently looks a lot like the smooch “The Little Mermaid’s” Ariel shared with Prince Eric.
And although there wasn’t an evil sea witch or stepmother bent on ruining Kate’s walk down the aisle (thankfully!), every fairytale has to have a villain or two and in this case….well, the Internet has handed those roles to Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie.

The two women, who sparked plenty of chatter thanks to their creative fascinators on the day of the wedding ( Princess Beatrice is currently selling hers on Ebay for charity), have been compared to Cinderella’s mean ugly stepsisters more than once.
